Established on March 1st, 2023, the National Skills Council of Malta operates as an executive government body. Our dedicated efforts are focused on advancing skill development, recognition and validation to foster a prosperous and resilient workforce for the nation.

- At our core, the Technical Affairs Department steers the helm, formulating robust policies that resonate with national objectives. This unit engages in policymaking for employment, education, and international collaborations, ensuring Malta remains globally competitive.
- Parallelly, our Corporate Affairs Department efficiently manages human resources, career guidance, communications, finance, procurement, IT, health and safety, and other vital functions. Their seamless support empowers the Council's smooth operations and orchestrates cohesive approaches to employee engagement and wellbeing, ensuring our initiatives are aligned and communicated effectively.
Together, both departments fortify the National Skills Council's commitment to spearhead an evidence-based skills agenda focused on employability, social inclusion and wellbeing.
